Fresh Pure Non Homogenised, Pasteurised Milk

Bass River Dairy Milk comes from our own cows on our own farm right here next to the the cafe and cheese factory. You won't believe how good this milk tastes.

They do not standardise their milk, so it changes with the seasons.

Being Non Homogenised means the cream rises to the top just like the good old days, so don't forget to give the bottle a shake each time you take it from the fridge.

The farm was established by Attillio and Mary Bisognin in 1966.

Son Glen now looks after the family dairy farm with partner Kaye Courtney, and grandson Luke milking a herd of 180 Holstein Cows.

The Cheese making began as a hobby for Kaye and has now flourished into a thriving business.

Bassine Specialty Cheeses is a small cheese making factory built to exacting specifications on our 235ac farm.

The milk is sourced directly from our own cows.

The HTST pasteuriser has also enabled them to bottle their own milk under the brand name of 'Bass River Dairies'. The inline separator allows them to produce Low Fat milk as well as Whole milk and pure Cream.
