Bimbadeen, has been our small family orchard, situated in Red Hill South on the Mornington Peninsula, since 1963 and comprises of olives, plums and feijoas.
All their fruit – including olives - are organically certified with NASAA (National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia). The olive grove was added in 1999.
The process of naturally growing, harvesting, transporting, pressing and bottling – with help from farmers in the local community – has been a lesson in coming together.
The olives are cold pressed within 24 hours of harvesting and the oil is unfiltered. This helps preserve the oil’s natural colour, its “peppery” flavour and olive oil's reportedly healthy benefits.
